British actor Idris Elba is in the Marvel dog house after spoiling Avengers: Age Of Ultron by admitting he appears in it in a scene with Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) he also hinted at appearances in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War.
Elba also appears to have discussed Marvel movies in a way which has upset studio executives. Elba discussed how he immersed himself into his role as Nelson Mandela for the movie Mandela: Walk To Freedom. After completing the movie —which he apparently felt particularly proud of— he felt it jarring to go back into the CGI-world of Marvel reshoots for Thor: The Dark World.
“It was really weird,” he told the The Telegraph. “I’d just done eight months in South Africa. I came to England and the day I came back I had to do reshoots on ‘Thor 2.’ And in the actual scene my hair was different, my…[deep sigh] I was like, ‘This is torture, man. I don’t want to do this.’ My agent said: ‘You have to, it’s part of the deal.’ ”
