Deadline are reporting that Anthony Mackie will play Sam Wilson aka the new Captain America in the hero’s fourth solo movie outing. The movie will follow on from the events seen in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as well as incorporating whatever MCU storylines are taking place at the time.
Malcolm Spellman, who wrote The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will pen the script alongside Dalan Musson, a staff writer on the Disney+ Marvel series.
