VIPCO & BayView Entertainment have released the action drama Doorways, which is now available on Digital Platforms worldwide including to rent/buy on Amazon Prime Video.
Doorways will arrive on AVOD Digital Platforms worldwide on 24th September 2024.
Director-Writer-Actor Steven Murphy raised the budget for this debut film by selling his taxi and cage fighting. With no prior knowledge or film training, just a passion for cinema, he hired a professional camera and sound person and just got on with it. His passion and determination was well-received and paid off, as he is now currently on post-production of his fourth film.
When his father is beaten up, Simon questions his masculinity and what it means to ‘be a man’ in an ever-changing world. He throws himself into the deep end by becoming a bouncer at a rundown pub. Mentored by long-time bouncer Craig, Simon has a new father-figure to look up to. He soon realizes, however, that there are many more facets to being a man as he witnesses Craig’s life spiraling out of control, dragging him in to a vortex of violence that will change his life forever.
Doorways was written and directed by Steven Murphy. The film stars Steven Murphy, Jonathan Ciardini and Todd Von Joel.
