Nekrotronic (2018)

Directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, Nekrotronic (formally known as Nekromancer) tells the tale of Howard North (Ben O’Toole), a down on his luck sewage worker who gets dragged into a global conflict between the Nekromancers, a family of badass demon hunters, and Finnegan (Monica Bellucci) – an evil demon who absorbs people’s souls to increase her power via smartphone apps and the internet. The result of which turns them into demons!

When Howard finds out the shocking truth behind Finnegan’s past and her dark plans for the future, he teams up with his new friends Molly (Caroline Ford), Torquel (Tess Haubrich), and the ghost of his dead friend Rangi (Epine Bob Savea), Howard discovers he is the ultimate Nekromancer, the only one with the power to defeat her and save the world!

It stars Ben O’Toole (Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge), Monica Bellucci (The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Twin Peaks), Caroline Ford (Carnival Row), Tess Haubrich (Wolf Creek), and David Wenham (Lords of the Rings: The Two Towers, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, Iron Fist).
