It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that Una Stubbs has passed away at the age of 84 years old. The sad news was broken by her agent who said she had been ill for a few months and died at her home in Edinburgh surrounded by her family.
Stubbs was known for her role as Aunt Sally in the original Worzel Gummidge but also had roles in Summer Holiday, West 11, Till Death Us Do Part, The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, Penny Gold, Fawlty Towers, The Water Babies, Educating Marmalade, The Wind in the Willows, Morris Minor’s Marvellous Motors, Delta Wave, The Worst Witch, Eastenders, Midsomer Murders, and Sherlock.
