Cobra Kai Season 3 Ep. 9: Feel The Night takes its name from Baxter Robertson’s “Feel The Night” (with vocals by Lisa Nemzo) the tune that plays during Daniel and Ali’s first date at Golf N’ Stuff in the Karate Kid. So straight away that is a huge clue to what might happen in this episode.
Then is starts and straight away… BANG! Ali (Elisabeth Shue) is back home for Christmas – she had been teased for so long but now she is finally here! Johnny (William Zabka) goes to meet her for lunch where the two catch up and spend the day together at the carnival. It is an awesome fun nostalgia moment.
Meanwhile Robby (Tanner Buchanan) wins over Cobra Kai, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio) find common ground leading to Sam (Mary Mouser) and Miguel creating an alliance between Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do in order to take down Cobra Kai.
Verdict: 9. The Ali bomb was amazing to drop, and Daniel learning about how Johnny views the past via Miguel was a nice moment.
