Review: Trolls World Tour (2020)

Before we go any further let us just remember that this is a children’s movie aimed at children for children, a few references for the grown ups is a bonus but let us just remember what Trolls World Tour really is. With that established we find the world of the Trolls expanding with Queen Barb (voiced by Rachel Bloom), leader of the Rock Trolls, determined to eliminate every music genre turning rock into the one and only accepted music genre in the lands of Trolls. Standing in her way is Queen Poppy (voiced by Anna Kendrick), leader of the Pop Trolls who alongside her friend Branch (voiced by Justin Timberlake) aim to save the day!

As they battle commences we get a look at all the known Troll tribes, each relating to their own style of music and we soon learn our lesson (as previously taught to us by Wyld Stallyns) that music unites everybody and that despite our differences our love for it can unite us all into one large tribe.

Verdict: 6/10. Lots of positive vibes and a positive message about how our differences can unite us. Something that is important to instil in our younger generations even if that means getting certain songs stuck in our heads for a few hours after!
