Zapped Cancelled! Offical Statement from the team behind the show

It came as a great shock to the Cult Faction office that Zapped might be cancelled. To witness a show grow and mature and produce three solid seasons – with the third being the best work so far – we had nothing but praise for director Dave Lambert, and writers Dan Gaster, Will Ing, and Paul Powell but now it seems it has all come to and end:

Despite all your amazing comments and fantastic messages, I’m afraid we’ve been told that ‘Zapped’ will not be returning to Dave. We are, of course, gutted. We’d like to thank you all for watching and supporting us. Thank you to everyone at UKTV, Baby Cow and Black Dog Television for bringing it to life, our incredible crew who made the impossible happen on a daily basis and our brilliant cast – James Buckley, Paul Kaye, Sharon Rooney, Ken Collard and Louis Emerick for bringing Brian, Howell, Barbara, Steg and Herman to life in ways that never failed to surprise us and make us laugh. We hope it’s not the last we see of Brian Weaver. As we all know, in Munty anything can happen…

Have a Rhubarb Seizure on us, stay clear of Woodpox and don’t ever annoy the Fairies.

Love, Dave, Dan, Will and Paul.

Krunt!

We still feel Zapped had a lot to offer and were looking forward to what a fourth season would bring. What do you think?

  1. I’m watching all 3 series for the 20th time and still laughing at gags I’ve missed previously. One of the best series on telly for years, can’t understand why it won’t be renewed? Maybe BBC or ITV can do repeats!

  2. Wonderful original series that just got better and better. They cancel this and keep other absolute tripe on Dave! Start a campaign to have it brought back pleaseeee.

  3. Watching re-runs (at 3am, time has less meaning recently)- I’d forgotten how great this show is 💜💖💙 It’s GENIUS, & way better than others stuff TV. It deserved many more series, whoever cancelled it must be brain damaged from 1 too many Rhubarb Seizures, stupid Dave 😡
