The L Word is being revived!

Showtime have announced that they are reviving The L Word and it will feature a mix of old and new characters in a contemporary setting.

The show will premiere at the end of 2019 and will run for eight episodes. It will be executive produced by Marja-Lewis Ryan who is acting as showrunner; creator Ilene Chaiken, and stars Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey are also serving as Executive Producers. Beals, Moennig and Hailey will be starring in the series again as their original characters, “alongside a new generation of self-possessed LGBTQIA characters experiencing love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A.
