The Boys is currently in production but we now get our first look at Soldier Boy. The first superhero of that universe! In the comic book version the original Soldier Boy was leader of The Avenging Squad during World War II, but because of Soldier Boy’s stupidity and lack of training, both Greg Mallory’s soldiers and the Avenging Squad get killed by Germans, Mallory himself is the sole survivor of the incident. When he finds a severely wounded Soldier Boy begging for help, he kills him with a grenade in cold blood.
