Suzanna Leigh passes away aged 72
It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that actress Suzanna Leigh has passed away at the age of 72 years old after a long battle with Stage 4 liver cancer. The sad news was broken by her daughter, actress Natalia Leigh on Facebook:
“My warrior and my heart died at 5:30PM, on her terms,” she wrote. “It was time for JESUS to take her home. The world will forever be a little less light and magical. And my life has now and will be forever changed. I personally died a little today as she was my everything and I will never be the same.”
Leigh was known for her role with Elvis Presley in Paradise, Hawaiian Style (1966), and as a stewardess in the comedy Boeing Boeing (1965), and as the frail heroine in a couple of Hammer Horror films – The Lost Continent (1968) and Lust for a Vampire (1971). As well as such films as The Deadly Bees, Deadlier Than the Male, The Fiend, and Son of Dracula. Her T.V. roles included The Saint and The Persuaders!
