Ken Leung cast as Minister Karnak in Marvel’s Inhumans

Marvel Entertainment has announced Ken Leung (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Night Shift, Lost, Person of Interest, X-Men: The Last Stand, Saw) as Minister Karnak in their upcoming television series Marvel’s Inhumans.

Karnak debuted in Fantastic Four #45 way back in December 1965 and is another creation from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Karnak’s special ability is to see the fault in all things, such as people, plans, buildings, or anything else, but what makes him different from other Inhumans is he was never exposed to the Terrigen Mists that grant them their powers. He works as the chief strategist for King Black Bolt.

“Ken brings both a wisdom and a power to the role that no one else could match. His Karnak will be awesome,” executive producer Jeph Loeb said.

Showrunner Scott Buck adds: “Ken Leung has a great natural intelligence that reads clearly and will add depth and complexity to the very complicated character of Karnak.”
Leung joins Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (Graceland) as Medusa, and Iwan Rheon (Misfits, Game of Thrones) as Maximus.
