It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that Robocop and Twin Peaks star Miguel Ferrer passed away today following a battle with cancer at the age of 61 years old.
Ferrer was the son of Oscar-winning actor Jose Ferrer (they both appeared together in Dune) and Rosemary Clooney, and cousin of George Clooney. His Twin Peaks character FBI Agent Albert Rosenfeld will appear in the new season of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks in May 2017.
NCIS: Los Angeles show-runner R. Scott Gemmill released the following statement:
“Today, NCIS: Los Angeles lost a beloved family member, Miguel was a man of tremendous talent who had a powerful dramatic presence on screen, a wicked sense of humor, and a huge heart. Our thoughts go out to his wife Lori, his sons, and his entire family. He will be greatly missed.”
