Joseph Mascolo passes away aged 87

It is Cult Faction’s sad duty to report that actor Joseph Mascolo has passed away at the age of 87 years old in Los Angeles, California after many years of battling Alzheimer’s disease. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Schultz-Mascolo, his son Peter, his step-daughter Laura, and his sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Ronald LaVoie, and a large extended family.

Many will know  Mascolo for his soap opera work in Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful, Santa Barbara , and General Hospital he also cause a few blips on the Cult Faction radar with his appearances in The Equaliser, The Trial of the Incredible Hulk, Hunter, Heat, Hill Street Blues, Crazy Like A Fox, Hart to Hart, Sharky’s Machine, The Gangster Chronicles, The Incredible Hulk, Lou Grant, Jaws 2, Monster Squad, Kojak, Baretta, and Shaft’s Big Score, amongst others.
